POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide Project Control and Scheduling support services to the NNSA Pit Production Operations mission being performed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), LLC. The primary focus of these support efforts shall provide assistance and support to the SRNS NNSA Program Organization initiative by the valuation of the various project scopes, costs, schedules, and management plans and development of support procedures and processes for project integration interface with engineering and procurement.

DUTIES
• Combine various working schedules aligned with the proposed technical approach to form a single integrated schedule.
• Oversee and support development of schedules by schedulers.
• Participate in review process and ensure comments and feedback are implemented.
• Applies standard cost and/or scheduling data to departmental programs or systems.
• Provide weekly and monthly updated project schedules and reports to project management, project controls, and NNSA.
• Manage office schedules and coordinate deliverables and commitments.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
• Work with Leadership, technical and project staff to develop schedules for planning and operational purposes, actively interfacing with all NNSA Program Projects.
• Provide a monthly report to reflect opportunities to improve schedules, efficiencies, and project end dates.
• Prepare and distribute reports documenting the results of actions taken on behalf of NNSA Pit Production Operations and reports.
• Prepare detailed work plans in P6 schedules on a weekly basis.
• Utilize schedule, basis of estimate, and work breakdown structure (WBS) data dictionary.
• Create graphs and charts to track progress various documents.
• Lead program and project schedule meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business with 10 years related experience or
Associate’s degree with 20 years related experience.

Experience/Skills:
• Minimum of 20 years related scheduling experience.
• Reviews work for completeness as required by project specifications and scope definitions.
• Work with Estimating to ensure smooth, error-free integration of P6 activities with Cobra.
• Candidate must have strong problem solving, analysis and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

LOCATION
Savannah River Site
Aiken, SC
Position will be primarily performed at SRS and various off-site locations as needed.

The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina. It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia. SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

The work schedule will be a nominal 40-hour work week but can be part-time or with interruption between on-site requirements dependent on the support requirements necessary for the project. It is estimated that each standard year will consist of two-thousand and eighty hours. Ability to work a schedule that includes weekend days.
