Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for an Assurance Systems Subject Matter Expert opportunity for our customer in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Site.

Work Location: Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy government offices, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.

SCOPE OF WORK
Focus on providing oversight and development and implementation of site-wide requirements/standards/core business systems for Requirements Management and Contractor Assurance.
Perform oversight and assessment of Hanford contractor assurance systems, DOE nuclear facility readiness and contract transition activities (e.g. Hanford Integrated Tank Disposition Contract (ITDC)).
Provide Core Requirement support to the DOE LMRB for WTP.
Provide subject matter expertise and implementation support for the DOE Hanford Oversight programs and improvement initiatives.
Develop presentation materials, including schedules, briefings, white papers, position papers, research documentation, and assessment reports, as requested.
Assist in the development of materials and presentation of training and briefings to DOE and contractor management and staff.
Assist DOE continuous improvement efforts, as assigned.

Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The Contractor shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner. The Contractor employee shall submit a weekly report to the technical monitor addressing work accomplished, and deliverable progress.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor degree in a related field of study.
Substantial experience as an interpretive authority and subject matter expert for assurance system requirements in a DOE environment.
History of successful performance in developing and leading projects and comprehensive assurance systems and management programs in a DOE environment.
Substantial experience in developing and leading improvement, implementing change management, and effecting cultural changes within DOE program frameworks.
Experience in developing and implementing assurance system software applications in a DOE environment (experience with DevonWayTM is preferred). • Substantial experience in leading assessments to determine compliance, performance, and operational readiness.
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with management and technical subject matter experts at all levels of the organization.
Ability to develop and independently present training material and briefings to all levels of DOE and contractor organizations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Working knowledge of DOE-EM missions and activities.
Proficiency in the use of business/technical writing.
Excellent personal and professional communications skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and Power Point.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Non-Disclosure/Conflict of Interest form signed by both the general support contractor and authorized contractor representative must be submitted to procurement before any work/support can start.
Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors.
Compliance with site specific safety and security requirements, including badging and office protocols.

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $90,000 to $200,000 annually.
