Per diem - $700/week

Overview

The candidate will fill a position as an I&C Electrical Planner for the Surry Digital I&C Program. The Digital I&C project is a 10+ year effort as part of Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) to upgrade safety and non-safety-related analog systems to digital and transform the main control room to flat panel displays and controls. This role works with a cross-functional team of station stakeholders, project leads, and project managers to evaluate modifications to the plant design.

Top Required Skills

Nuclear Electrical Mods Planning Experience
Good people and computer skills
Ability to read and interpret plant drawings and design packages
MUST have Maximo/PAMs experience (this is the software we use for planning)
Nuclear experience is required.
Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Must get along with a variety of people and personalities. Has to interface with the craft and with management.
Will need to plan various workorders dealing with demolition, modification, and installation of electrical and I&C systems using site procedures.
