Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Data Engineer opportunity in Golden, CO to support the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

Work Location: Onsite, Hybrid, and Remote options are available.
Citizenship: US Citizenship Required

Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced data engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data engineering principles and technologies, with a proven ability to design build and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures.

Responsibilities:
Building and visualization of data pipelines using various tools.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a knack for identifying and resolving data related issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
Extensive experience with data warehouses and data marts including designing and implementing efficient data models.
Familiarity with Python and its data related libraries.

Preferred Qualifications:
API development and integration.
