We are looking for a Construction Project Engineer with the following qualifications:

REMOTE work authorized with some site visits (see below)

Position Description and Du􀆟es:
RSI Entech, working under prime contract with the Department of Energy, Office of Legacy Management (DOE-LM) requires the support of a construction project engineer for work on the DOE-LM Riverton Wyoming Processing Site AWSS Upgrades Project. This position will review design and bidding documents, assist in the evaluation of subcontractor bids, and provide technical support to the project team under the supervision of the Project Manager.
The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Provide quality control support for project plans and specifications during biddability and constructability reviews.
- Assist in preparation and resolution of RFI�s for the Engineer of Record and others
- Coordinate with A&E subcontractor, RSI project team members and subcontractors, as necessary, to support project success.
- Ensure project plans and specifications promote compliance with building codes, safety regulations and environmental requirements per Wyoming State codes.
- Provide support to the Project Manager, Construction Site Supervisor, Subcontract Technical Representative and RSI Contract Administrator in monitoring project progress and contractor performance to identify and help mi􀆟gate risks.
- Project technical support to team members.
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance for all project deliverables.
- Provide project engineering review and response for resolution for all field questions and change orders.
- Supports the project team in performing pre-punch list walk through.
- Supports the project team in completing closeout documentation, including as-builts drawings.

Required Qualifications:
-Four (4) year degree from an accredited university in Engineering or Construction Management

Desirable Qualifications:
-5 plus years of project experience working on DOE projects or the construction industry, preferably related to water supply systems.
-Proficient with MS Office Suite Tools

Estimated duration: Es􀆟mated Assignment Dura􀆟on: Base: FY24 - ~500 hours � May 1 � September 30, 2024, OPTION 1: FY25 - ~1000 hrs � October 1 � September 30, 2025

Work Location: Riverton, WY. REMOTE authorized
Base Period Travel � 2 site visits
Option 1 Period Travel � 1 site visit per month
