This position requires experience in electrical test
engineering in an aerospace environment. Responsibilities include: Hands on design, support and maintain production power electronic and test equipment. Interface with internal teams to resolve production test issues. Design electrical test cabling and etc. This position will be supporting our production and test operations and require a person who is hands on, can work independently and be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time. This individual must be able to work in a team environment.

Essential Job Function:
25%-Work hands on in high reliability production or test environment to define specifications for tooling needs.

20%-Utilize standard engineering software platforms (preferably Visio) to develop electrical schematics and drawings. This will include taking a design from concept through release in document control.

15%-Document procedures relevant to the manufacture and use of tools designed.

10%-Work with engineering staff to determine cost estimates of tooling or hardware.

10%-Procure materials and hardware necessary to fabricate tooling.

10% -Perform design reviews and tool proofs to verify proper form, fit, and function.

10%- Develop work instructions for electrical technicians to build, validate, and calibrate electronics tools.


SKILLS >> Must have a solid understanding of concepts and practices
common to electrical engineering. Requires experience in board level and
end item test equipment design / maintenance. Requires instrumentation
and data acquisition systems experience., Test planning and quality
control for high reliability space electronics. Requires strong written
and verbal communication skills and the ability to analyze and solve
technical problems with minimum supervision. Be familiar with identifying
and specifying connectors used in aerospace applications.

EDUCATION >> Requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a Mechanical Engineering
degree with Electrical Engineering experience. Minimum 2 years applicable
experience. Must posses strong technical writing and verbal communication
skills. Must be a U.S Citizen
