PDS is seeking a Flight Test Systems Development Specialist (contract)-WIC02186 for an open position in Wichita, KS.
In your role, you will:
Define and implement an information technology environment for the Flight Test Center and its associated collaborators.
Manage the delivery of training, process documentation updates and decommission of legacy systems.
Provide visibility of planned and actual benefits of implementation in terms of cost, process simplification, and service quality.
Define and implement process improvements within the assigned functional discipline using IT systems as appropriate. Partners with business users, infrastructure, and other development teams.
Be responsible for the recommendation, design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of solutions, including new web applications, to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas.
Assist with development of new software solutions as well as support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications.
Gather and analyze business requirements.
Provide technical guidance and input to on-going support of legacy BFTC IT tools.
Develop detailed technical requirements documents and requests for change to define future IT needs.
