Role Overview:

• Mechanical Assembler I is an entry level position.
• The purpose for an operator at this level is to gain a basic understanding of deburring and air grinding operations.
• Operators must obtain a basic level knowledge in order to deburr and clean parts in a manner necessary to produce precision parts with direct supervision by a more senior Mechanical Assembler with Deburring Certification (level II or above).
• Follows established standard work under general supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days.
• The operator will typically refer problems or deviations to more experiences operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors, or engineers.
