The majority of Caddell's volume consists of work for federal clients including the U.S. State Department, the GSA, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Department of Energy, and all branches of the U.S. military. However, Caddell continues to serve private customers most notably the Southern Company for whom Caddell has built major power plant complexes and provides ongoing construction and maintenance services.

Today, Caddell performs under the full range of contract agreements—design/build, construction manager at risk, design/bid/build for some of the most ambitious construction projects in the world.

In new construction applications, such as the implementation of new force protection and anti-terrorism design codes, Caddell is on the cutting edge, building projects for the military and the U.S.State Department that are among the most sophisticated and secure in the world.
