Job Description:
The position is based in San Diego, CA. As a Sr. Software Engineer in our fast paced team you should have significant exposure to Fusion Middleware. You should possess demonstrated experience in implementing Oracle SOA Suite and a working knowledge of Services using Oracle AIA PIP's.
You will be responsible for providing expert knowledge of application and system architecture at all levels. You will work closely with business partners to ensure the sound development and implementation of financial software solutions, both custom and packaged. You will be integral in the design, build and test phases of the implementation life cycle. You will be expected to facilitate resolution of conflicts that arise during the development lifecycle through effective partnership with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities will include the following:
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine required software improvements and modifications
• Continuously improve on technology implementation methodology
• Become familiar with the products and architecture of current Back Office Systems solutions
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to business partners in the process of evaluating, scoping and designing an implementation strategy
• Ensure solutions conform to current industry standards as well as to Intuit's internal guidelines and standards
• Identify the hardware and software components an application will use for implementation and provide guidance on how to appropriately implement application components
• Resolve and work on issues across multiple functional areas. Effectively monitor and take action to ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and decide on issues requiring escalation
