Long Term position in Aiken, SC

Position Responsibilities:

SDG Technical Deputies is responsible for the technical management of the development of the MFFF Information System for process and utility control. He reports directly to the Software Design Group Manager.
The detailed responsibilities attached to this position are :
&#61607; Correct and complete implementation of the MFFF licensing commitments that pertain to the MFFF software
&#61607; Technical choice and associated implementation follow up (including technical estimation, requirements analysis)
&#61607; Technical standards and design solutions (hardware and software) mastering
&#61607; Implementation of the appropriate software design guidelines
&#61607; Design, development, test platforms and tools adequacy assessment
&#61607; Technical Baseline Control,
&#61607; Completeness and correctness of the SDG products (Deliverables Verification and Validation : they are involved in platform tests and acceptance tests)
&#61607; SDG staff competency assessment
&#61607; Technical audits realization and proposition of technical audits to the management
&#61607; Management and mitigation of technical risks that pertain to the MFFF software
&#61607; Training program orientation on technical issues
&#61607; Software Changes technical validation
&#61607; Changes Estimation, support variance analysis and schedule changes
Required Qualifications:
Education, Bachelor of Science degree in a related Computer or Engineering field
In lieu of a Bachelor of Science degree, the candidate shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience in either software development for critical applications in highly automated industries as for example but not limited to nuclear, pharmaceutical, or Government industries.
Professional experience:
&#61607; Must have previous experience with control process in highly automated facility
&#61607; Must have background in I&C and previous experience on facility control system design or development
&#61607; Must have previous experience of software development under international standards (ex IEEE)
&#61607; Must have previous experience with formal software life cycle approach
&#61607; Must have technical knowledge on control process tools in PLC and SCADA system
&#61607; Must have background knowledge or experience in Manufacturing Execution System
&#61607; Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with others within the enterprise in a timely, tactful, and effective manner. Has the ability to communicate complex issues to the appropriate audience. Facilitates flow and exchange of information across the organization.
&#61607; Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers and external personnel.
&#61607; Demonstrate ability to visualize goals and set direction, goals, and measures
&#61607; Demonstrate initiative and motivation necessary to assess problems and develop solutions with minimum assistance from supervisor.
&#61607; Must be organized and have the ability to interact with key software personal in an efficient and effective manner
&#61607; Must be able to demonstrate leadership and time management skills to prioritize tasks and make progress in an effective manner that supports to cost and schedule goals of the Software Design Group
Desired Qualifications:
&#61607; Previous experience related to Nuclear Fuel Fabrication
&#61607; Previous experience on Siemens or Schneider PLC and SCADA tools is a plus
&#61607; Previous experience with safety significant or safety related software developed for the US nuclear industry with NRC guides or in the pharmaceutical industry, understanding of safety analysis techniques (Software Fault Trees, Software Failure Modes and Effects, Software Hazops, Code Safety Analysis,FTA, SRHA, Traceability, Code Safety Analysis), understanding of Industry standards (as IEEE, EPRI, NQA) and how they apply
&#61607; Previous experience in Quality Management such as Software Plan issuance or in V&V such as test documentation (plan, design, case procedure) issuance.
&#61607; Foreign language – French
&#61607; Must have sufficient skills in MS Office products (Word and Excel) to be able to create, manage, and modify large and complex documents.
