PLC and SCADA Assistant Lead opportunity located in Aiken, South Carolina

Position Responsibilities:
The PLC and SCADA assistant Lead reports to the SDG PLC and SCADA Lead. In the middle term, this position will evolve to become the PLC and SCADA Lead
• Development of PLC and SCADA software that meets the project requirements, including for some applications the reuse of other software coming from French reference plants (software Americanization).
• Staffing of resources with sufficient technical expertise to perform the assigned work
• Team organization and management
• Execution of work within the constraints of the approved budget and schedule, and in conformance with the required quality standards
• Application of standards and regulations and other requirements documents
• Application of the project defined programming standards
• Design of the PLC and SCADA development and test platforms
• Assure that functional deliveries are properly placed under Software configuration Management system of the SDG
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with others within the enterprise in a timely, tactful, and effective manner. Has the ability to communicate complex issues to the appropriate audience. Facilitates flow and exchange of information across the organization.
• Demonstrate ability to visualize goals and set direction, goals, and measures
• Demonstrate initiative and motivation necessary to assess problems and develop solutions with minimum assistance from supervisor.
• Must be organized and have the ability to interact with key software personal in an efficient and effective manner
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership and time management skills to prioritize tasks and make progress in an effective
• Familiarity with a structured software development life cycle
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft office applications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science or Industrial Engineering , or computer science, electrical engineering
• Previous experience in the Design and Development of PLC and SCADA applications
• Previous experience in management (20p-30p)
• 5 to 10 years of experience in automated control system for industrial purpose
• Familiarity with a structured software development life cycle
• Strong technical writing and engineering document interpretation skills
Desired Qualifications:
• French Language skills
• Function block programming/grafcet
• Previous experience in the nuclear field is a plus
• Skills in Siemens and Schneider PLC is a plus

Pay up to 70K plus PerDiem
