Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking a Senior Planner/Scheduler (Heavy Division) in the North Texas area.

Job Overview:

The Senior Planner/Scheduler (Heavy Division) will assist in the work plan, estimate, craft task and documentation of the work. Primarily a continuous presence site position, the Planner/Scheduler should be capable of identifying all the requirements for a work order or activity and compiling these activities into a detailed Primavera Project Planner schedule that can incorporate into the master schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop daily or weekly turnaround bar chart backlog schedule with histograms for work orders utilizing Primavera P3 or an on site scheduling software.
Prioritize the work orders based on needs.
Develop the detail job planning sheet/work package for all work orders issued.
Assist the craft supervision in the execution of the work orders.
Track daily progress of the work orders and reforecast execution needs.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 10+ years of heavy construction scheduling experience (i.e. highways, bridges, roads)
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees, management and outside parties.
Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise employees.
Flexible, well organized and detail oriented.
Ability to multi-task.
Working knowledge of computers is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field (i.e. Construction Management) preferred.
