INSTRUMENTATION SERVICE TECH - BLAIR/OMAHA, NE

As a Midwest-based, national construction, engineering, instrumentation, and automation group of companies, we serve manufacturing clients in building and maximizing the use of their facilities. Presently, we have a need for an Instrumentation Service Technician in Blair & Omaha, NE.

Primary Responsibilities will include:
1) Providing instrumentation maintenance services including troubleshooting, configuration, installation, documentation, checkout, and commissioning of instrumentation and valves.
2) Providing instrumentation small project services which may include instrumentation, controls, and electrical work.
3) Provide 24 hour, 7 days a week telephone support and/or site support for a particular client.
4) Planning, prioritizing, and scheduling work based on client needs. Managing personal workload and potentially workload of a small maintenance team to maintain effectiveness and productivity. Communicating progress and status of work orders and projects.
5) Accurately documenting instrumentation maintenance work and actively sharing instrumentation information with our clients. Documentation will include work orders, billing worksheets, and timesheets.
6) Maintain instrument as-built documentation.
7) Providing or facilitating instrumentation training for the site.
8) Promote Interstates' services at the site.
9) Performing other duties as assigned or required by supervisor.

Great people for this position will have:
*Associate’s degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical school with an emphasis in instrumentation or equivalent experience. Experience in configuration, calibration, installation, application, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting industrial instrumentation is required.
*Good communication (verbal, written, listening) and team work skills
*A desire to work with great people in a casual, fun, growing company
*Ability to work independently without supervision out of a home office
*Valid driver's license and clean driving record
