Safety Consultant firm seeks a Site Safety Coordinator for the Pheonix AR area. Initial project involves heavy construction, including:
• Cranes and rigging
• Structural assembly at elevations
• Underwater inspection and demolition
• Overhead work including temporary work platforms
• Piping and mechanical assembly and installation

Exposure to heavy construction projects is a must! Must have had responsibility involving extensive Construction Site Safety and all that applies. Direct experience overseeing safety at the site program level is a must!

Will oversee entire jobsite safety for this construction project! Seeking 5+ years experience as a construction site safety supervisor with proficient knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and their HSE programs, incident reporting and management, JSA creation and implementation, Site Safety Plan generation and Company/Client/OSHA compliance.

Position Description:
• Manage job site safety and accident prevention by inspection, correcting safety hazards, and educating on site employees on safe, proper work practices. Follow the Company established Safety Program.

Essential Job Functions
• Ensure compliance with Company safety program
• Manage and implement the employee safety training programs and orientations
• Investigate, document, and report all injuries, illnesses and incidents on job site
• Accompany safetyand health inspectors on walk-throughs
• Participate in Pre-construction meetings
• Conduct work area surveillance inspections and control hazardous working conditions or unsafe team member activities
• Work with Company insurance department to manage workers comp claims

Education
• CSST or equivelent
• OSHA 500
• OSHA 30
• First aid/CPR certified

Requirements
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Competency in using Microsoft Word & Excel
• Must be willing to accept moderate travel to different project locations if necessary!
• Construction HSE professionals only!!!
