The Challenge? Successfully deliver constructive solutions. Our Bridge/Highway Construction Inspector jobs provide you with an opportunity to work on roadways and related transportation projects located in the state of Nevada. Responsibilities include demonstrating familiarity with all phases of roadway and bridge construction, including materials testing and construction surveying.
You should be a self-motivated professional with a proven and successful 15 year track record in inspection of transportation projects, including experience documenting installation of work and contractor's performance and experience with applicable codes. Proficiency in reading contract plans and specifications is necessary as well as experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook. A valid State driver's license is required along with good communication skills, both written & verbal.
Our ideal candidate has an AA degree related to Engineering or Construction Management, and ACI, ICBO/ICC, City Deputy Inspector, AWS, OSHA, and/or NICET certifications. Familiarity with document control software such as Expedition, NDOT experience and the ability to work a flexible work schedule is a plus! You should be able to prioritize and multi-task as well as have a desire to grow both personally and professionally with each construction job.
