Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an I&C Designer opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.

Work Location: Greenville, SC

I&C (Instrumentation & Control) Designer-
Job Description:
The I&C Designer will demonstrate subject matter expertise with industrial or nuclear I&C System Design requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
� Ability to read, interpret and generate design drawings with minimal input from engineering.
� Must have the ability to walk-down field systems with minimal guidance, interpret field direction, generate minor design details, create new drawings, modify existing drawings.
� Direct, check, and approve work done by other Designers.
� Conduct reviews of model using 3D review platform.
� Prepare 3D layouts for conceptual and detailed designs.
� Ability to develop estimates, schedules, staffing requirements, progress reports, key quantities, tracking reports, and project scope of service.

Education:
� Minimum of an associate degree (preferred but not required).
Experience:
� A minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience in drafting related to Engineering and Construction (nuclear preferred).
� Must have 3D modeling experience (S3D preferred).
� Highly skilled in computer-aided design (CAD) with demonstrated experience in computer-aided drafting applications to originate and produce drawings and 3D models of moderate to advanced complexity.

Other Job Requirements:
� Must be US Citizen
� Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to specialized (nuclear or other areas) engineering design.
