Edgewater Technical�Associates�is seeking qualified candidates for an�I&C�Engineer opportunity to support an�Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) project.

Work Location:�Greenville, SC

I&C Engineer-
The I & C Engineer will provide engineering analysis, walk-downs, I&C design development and generation of design output documents.

Job Responsibilities:
The I&C design activities will include design definition, control systems, architecture and development, digital systems, PLC, DCS, network configuration, logic development, network switches, process controls, P&ID development support and review, HMI, communication protocols, routing and layout, SIL, and procurement activities.�
Interpret and apply National, State, and Local codes and standards, and customer design requirements for the preparation of electrical design/construction documents, specifications, and system descriptions related to assigned tasks through project startup.
Prepare engineering cost and schedule estimates.
Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations and specifications.

Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering or similar accredited Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.

Experience:
A minimum of ten (10) years� experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
Proficient in computer-aided drafting applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
Nuclear or chemical facility experience

Other Job Requirements:
Must Be a US Citizen
Must have the ability to walk-down systems in the field.
Working knowledge of Federal (including DOE Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to electrical engineering design.
