[Foreman] Mechanical Foreman - Material Handling

Since 1986, ASBECO has been an industry leader in mechanical conveyor installations nationwide. We are looking for Mechanical Foremen to execute our projects.

Purpose
Install, adjust, repair, and maintain material handling systems. Supervise mechanical technicians.

Responsibilities
-Responsible for ensuring that the job is completed to ASBECO standards
-Responsible for leading projects
-Oversees the installation of conveyors
-Oversees the detailing process
-Responsibility for ensuring all documentation is filled out when necessary for assigned projects
-Performs other duties as assigned

General Skills
-Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery
-Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs

Education, License, and Experience
-Some college is preferred
-A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in the mechanical installation of material handling systems
-Must be willing to travel 100%
-Must be able to read drawings and schematics
-Must be able to operate a wide variety of heavy equipment (lull, cranes, etc.)

Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
