Long term position for a skilled Marine Carpenter with Aluminum Fabrications Skills. TIG Welding Experience a BIG plus! The Marine Carpenter will be working on interior framework and trim work on aluminum hull boats. Must have expertise with all precision carpentry tools and power tools.

Duties will include:

Rough Frame with Aluminum Extrusion. This can require some TIG Welding
Installation of interior trim work, hanging doors, base, case, crown, etc.
Installation of cabinets in galley areas, heads, and other areas of the vessel.
Aluminum Fabrication and installation of ladders, railings, hatches, etc.
Some millwork and cabinet shop work may be required at times.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 60 lbs.
Capable to walk, stand, kneel, etc. for long periods of time.
Able to work on and climb ladders.
Ability to work in industrial conditions and confined spaces.
Capable and able to wear all required PPE.

Pay is $26 - $30/hr based on Experience.
Per Diem: $120/day
Schedule: 40 hours + Occasional OT
