Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at our food processing plant. As a Millwright, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery and equipment, contributing to the success of our production processes.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment used in food processing.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and address mechanical issues before they escalate.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and production staff, to optimize equipment performance.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance schedules.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Millwright in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends, as required.
Certification or formal training in millwrighting or a related field is preferred.
