Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement safety programs
*Issue and supervise hazardous work permits
*Conduct Pre-Task Planning, including JSAs, Safety Plans of Action (SPAs), Crane Lift Plans, etc.
**Perform site safety audits and inspections
*Provide oversight for high-risk work, such as hot work, elevated work, hazardous energy control/LOTO, line break, core drilling, trenching/excavation, confined space entry, and crane lifts
Requirements:
5+ years of direct construction oversight experience is required
Degree in EHS field preferred but not but not required
Minimum OSHA 30 Construction (within last 5 years)
BCSP credentials strongly preferred
Diverse construction project experience required
Subcontractor management experience.
Able to work independently to develop and deliver the day-to-day site safety expectations.
Candidate must be able to effectively work with project team, subcontractor, and end-user.
Strong communication and organizational skills for customer-facing position
Position is roughly 70% field and 30% administrative responsibility
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, climb ladders for 8+ hours per day
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Ability to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time
