Broadband Inspector

Job description:

A Broadband Inspector will inspect and troubleshoot cable systems to identify any issues and resolve them promptly. The technician will be responsible for maintaining inventory between technicians and warehouses throughout the territory. This project is throughout GA with most of the work South of Atlanta heading North for approximately a duration of 2 years.

Responsibilities and Duties:

� Inspect and verify conduit, cable and structures for broadband system are installed to plans and specifications
� Keeping reliable records of installations, repairs, quantities, and equipment configurations.
� Communicate with field personnel of process and procedures
� Provide updates to project management
� Assuring proper materials and being installed
� Documenting process and procedure.
� Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
� Highschool diploma required (College degree preferred)
� Strong P.C. and Microsoft Office skills.
� Good understanding of how cables are routed and connected to specific devices, such as modems and routers
� Ability to use optical test equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRs.
� Safely operate a company vehicle.
� Strong communication skills
� Strong leadership skills.
