We are seeking an estimator to join our team. This is a direct hire position for the Columbus Ohio area. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

The Estimator will collect and analyze information to estimate costs of products and services for residential electrical projects.

Position Responsibilities:

· Review and understand construction drawings and determine the materials needed for a specific estimate takeoff.

· Issue RFI's necessary for a complete takeoff.

· Perform line-item takeoffs on underground, overhead electrical, and low voltage systems.

· Perform lighting counts and understand the installation labor needed for each type.

· Utilize the estimating software to correctly enter takeoffs.

· Convey bid invites to vendors and subcontractors with detailed descriptions of what is expected.

· Review vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy.

· Create detailed proposals of the items/excluded for each project.

· Work with owners and general contractors to ensure they have a full understanding on the proposal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
