Lee Markum "Lee Bone", 66, was called home to the Lord on Monday, Feb 22, 2010, surrounded by his wife and soul mate of 25 years, Joanna and family in his final hours. Lee served in the navy and was stationed on the USS Midway. He worked for PG&E for 31 years. Lee loved to camp, boat, and fish. He hosted many pig roasting parties that will be remembered for years to come. Lee was a loving husband, as well as a loving father, uncle, brother and friend. Lee was well loved and will be greatly missed. Lee is survived by wife Joanna Markum of Atascadero; daughter Dana (Whaley) Jobe of Visalia; son Bryan Whaley of Paso Robles; grandchildren, nieces, nephew''s brothers and sisters. A memorial will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Chapel of the Roses, 3450 El Camino Real, in Atascadero. Chapel of the Roses 466-1161 Atascadero

I've worked with Lee a few times and of course know his wife Joanna well from Diablo. He was a great guy and will be missed.
