Job Description:
This senior project management position is responsible for all aspects of delivery for multiple projects ensuring that these projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. The Development Director will focus on managing existing wind projects and on identifying and securing new development sites, identifying and evaluating project acquisition and investment opportunities and mentoring junior staff members.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science , Engineering, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Previous experience in energy development, specifically wind energy and PV projects strongly preferred, Thorough understanding of deregulated electricity markets
Minimum 5-7 years in a relevant project management position with proven track record of building, leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team, preferably in the renewable energy or power generation industry
Business and utility industry experience preferred

Must be willing to travel 50%
