Job Description
MCFA is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Equipment Survey Technician. The role supports our client at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland. The responsibilities of this role will be dynamic and depending on the individual’s background, knowledge and interests may include:
• Physical surveys of assets and inventory
• Collection of warranty information and specifications
• Entry of warranty information and specifications for equipment into the Asset Management System
• Assist in data collection and surveying efforts
• Assist in asset identification and barcoding of assets
• Development of Preventive Maintenance plans for assets
• Life cycle analysis of assets
• Coordination with contractors and/or Government representatives for assets that are newly installed or preparing to be installed
• Coordination with Contracting Officer’s Representatives and Contractors for Equipment ID Numbers
• Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of work experience;
• Strong problem solving abilities;
• Ability to organize work and effectively manage time;
• Meticulous attention to detail;
• Resourcefulness when responding to time sensitive situations;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently;
• Substantial experience with office automation tools (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills;
• Military and or US Government experience is a plus
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US; and
• Ability to pass a background check and to receive US Government contractor credentials.
Compensation
