Job Title: Tax Manager = FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY

Job Description: Reporting to the Director, Corporate Tax, you will help manage all aspects of tax planning and compliance with a focus on minimizing the organization's overall tax liability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of annual federal and state income tax returns Preparation of quarterly tax payments and extensions Assisting with the calculation and compilation of the company’s quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with FAS109 and related financial statement Document FIN48 Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes Management of federal and state tax audits ·Review of monthly sales tax returns as well as training of appropriate personnel to insure proper billing of sales tax and accurate self-assessment of state use taxes Maintain a current knowledge of all federal, state and local tax law and any actual or proposed changes ·Continuous review of the corporate structure in order to advise Corporate and Divisions on structural issues

Thoroughly research state, local, domestic and foreign issues as they arise; maximize the benefit of available tax incentives such as the R&D credit and depreciation.

· Advise upper management regarding tax issues and opportunities including maximizing opportunities as the corporation expands through acquisitions and foreign expansion into new territories

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

·BS in Accounting and/or Finance, CPA; MST a plus
