Develops product and process improvements, Participates in procedure writing and review ,Performs process and equipment validations ,Specifies and implements process lay-outs, Supports manufacturing, development, and implementation processes, Utilizes FMEA within process development ,Ensures compliance with GMP’s ,Generates documentation for engineering protocols and reports ,Writes engineering and manufacturing specifications
Will work in support electronic equipment "box build" production line. Production Support and Trouble Shooting: Provides engineering support to manufacturing operation on routine basis. Addresses product related issues arising on the production floor. Defines and generates all required documentation in support of manufacturing products and processes. These include: Engineering protocols, FMEAs, reports, manufacturing instructions and procedures. Ensures compliance with GMP’s and internal protocol. Uses appropriate statistical support and Design of Experiments (DOE) when developing recommendations. Qualification and Validation: Develop plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability through equipment qualification and process validation. Continuous Improvement and Cost Analysis: Continually improve manufacturing methods and systems using Lean Enterprise philosophies to optimize product performance and reduce manufacturing costs. Identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement inherent in manufacturing processes and make specific recommendations for adoption. Develop and Optimize Work Design, Manufacturing Layout and Product Flow: Recommends and implements process layouts using lean manufacturing philosophies for increased efficiency in manufacturing. Recommends appropriate staffing level to support manufacturing requirements. Develop and implement process and product improvements, typically projects of complex scope and wide magnitude. Leadership: May lead team in operations related programs including product iterations, cost reduction programs, process changes across product lines and manufacturing layout synergies. May lead work of lower level engineers and/or technicians and provides performance input to reviewing manager. Equipment and Fixturing: Determine specific requirements of manufacturing operation in order to specify equipment, fixturing, and process parameters. May collaborate on design with suppliers to fulfill equipment and fixturing requirements. Perform detailed cost analysis, recommend, justify, and lead manufacturing improvement projects. Education: Electrical Engineering required
