Description:

Monitor supplier on –time and quality performance, determine corrective actions (as need), and follow up to ensure maximum supplier performance.,Drive cost reduction/continuous quality improvement programs so as to meet (or better) standard cost targets and purchase price variance (PPV) forecasts. , Lead efforts to improve acquisition/business processes.,Use planning tools (MRP, spreadsheets and re-order point systems) to order production parts per schedule. Maintain minimal amounts of inventory to meet planned inventory and production goals. ,Leads efforts to reduce lead times, increase inventory turns and receive “as-needed” deliveries from local sources to support 100% on-time delivery to production.

We're looking for an experienced, dynamic and reliable buyer/planner that has experience working in the medical device or any agency controlled industry. This person must be very organized, able to work in a stressful environment, under minimal supervision. This candidate should be easily empowered to make decisions and work very well in a team oriented environment. Knowledge in Electronics', plastic's production is a plus. EP: medical experience and SAP required. Looking for very strong candidates. Purchasing experience or planning required. Experience working with suppliers. Quality experience in manufacturing. Project management knowledge is a plus.
Required:

Education Level: Undergraduate Degree
Experience in a medical manufacturing environment: Experience in a medical manufacturing environment
Experience in a Procurement/Supply Chain Management Environment: 1 - 3 Years
Supply Chain Management Packages: SAP
