Description:

The candidate will be expected to be able to participate in experimental design and to conduct experiments, generate, analyze and report results of experiments. The candidate will participate in protein purification and other research projects. . Candidate should be comfortable to work in fast paced environment and handle multiple projects at the same time.

Skills:

Candidate must be highly motivated, detail oriented and focused. He/she should have strong written and interpersonal skills.Must be able to multi-task, and meet timelines efficiently and productively. A strong knowledge and hands on experience in a variety of protein expression (E.coli, baculovirus & mammalian systems) and 1-100mg scale protein purification (including both affinity and conventional chromatography approaches) is essential. Candidate must have hands on experience with AKTA Explorer. Molecular biology and cell biology experience is desirable but not essential.

Education:

B.S. degree in biological science.
