Position Opening

Good Harbor is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in commercial nuclear security procedures, specifically the development and execution of information security plans. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a related field, 7-10+ years of commercial nuclear security experience and be prepared to personally commit to living overseas. Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work both independently with little guidance and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION DETAIL

TITLE
Information Security Procedures Director
Incumbent must be able to pass a security clearance/background check.

LOCATION
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Seeking personnel who can provide a 2-year minimum commitment to the program.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Competitive salary based on experience plus expatriate housing, transportation and health care

QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced degree in nuclear and/or security related subject preferred or equivalent experience
• 7-10+ years commercial nuclear security experience
• Knowledge of technology and techniques to protect classified and sensitive information
• Experience working in an international setting (Middle East preferred)

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interview appropriate stakeholders to gain an understanding of current best practices in relation to the protection of classified and sensitive information
• Perform gap analysis of these practices with accepted international nuclear energy practices
• Develop a comprehensive Information Security Plan, which will be used by all interested parties, detailing the requirements for maintaining the security of sensitive, classified and/or critical information related to the facility and its processes
• Develop and conduct workshops
• Develop a training plan and assist in training client employees on their specific role in nuclear security
• Perform other duties as required
