Position Opening

Good Harbor is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in project management processes. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a related field, 7-10+ years of commercial nuclear security experience and be prepared to personally commit to living overseas. Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work both independently with little guidance and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION DETAIL

TITLE
Project Management Director
Incumbent must be able to pass a security clearance/background check.

LOCATION
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Seeking personnel who can provide a 2-year minimum commitment to the program.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Competitive salary based on experience plus expatriate housing, transportation and health care

QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred
• 7-10+ years of commercial nuclear security experience
• Understanding and experience in program/project management planning
• Ability to prioritize organization goals and objectives and achieve them given project constraints, including budget and time
• Experience working in an international setting (especially Middle East) is advantageous
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification would be advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop a Program Management Plan based on solid project management principles for a newly formed government organization
• Assist in the development of a project based set of management processes and procedures founded on international project management standards
• Mentor client personnel on purpose and use of the plan and processes
• Assist in institutionalizing project management practices within the team
• Coordinate with Good Harbor’s project management team members on a daily basis in order to assist in the team’s delivery of multiple advisory services to the client
• Perform other duties as required
