Position Description:
A Senior Project Controls Scheduling specialist with 10 -20 years experience in project management and/or Project Controls with a experience in scheduling.
Individual will be assigned to the Major Projects Group as a project controls scheduler with responsibility for providing experienced and seasoned support in the development, analysis and maintenance of major construction project schedules at an operating nuclear plant

Minimum Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of the use of PC and software applications such as MS office and in particular scheduling application proficiency in Primavera.
• Extensive knowledge of correspondence management practices; establishing developing correspondence systems for internal and external stakeholders
• Extensive knowledge of project control related activities associated with design, procurement, and construction management
• Extensive knowledge of analyzing, integrating, trending and forecasting schedule information for projects
• Extensive knowledge of project estimating, planning, task duration scheduling, and the Work Breakdown Structure
• Extensive knowledge of project scheduling database including setting up and monitoring code structures and database conventions.
• Extensive knowledge of Master scheduling techniques in a multi-project environment dealing with multiple contractors and subcontractors
• Ability to work effectively in a project team environment
• Provide support to the project team in tracking and trending project status; anticipate problems and advise team on planned recoveries; perform variance analysis on earned value, productivity trends and critical path analysis of schedule networks.
• Ability to obtain a nuclear security clearance - Candidate will need to be Rad worker trained and possess the ability to gain a nuclear access badge


Desired Qualifications:

10-20 years experience in Project management, project controls or combinations of related experience in managing and controlling large industrial projects
2-5 years previous supervisory experience
4 year Technical degree -or-
4 year Business degree
(Note: Experience will considered in lieu of formal education)

Ability to support the development of a major construction Project Master schedule
• Code structures and controlling processes
• Utilization of scheduling software Primavera or Project view
• Performance Management Metrics ( Earned value)
• Tracking trending reporting techniques and tools
• Critical Path analysis
• Resource leveling and utilization

Comprehensive knowledge of project control scheduling process, and theories, procedures and the process interdependencies of other working with the owners business and control processes.
Possess the capability to develop performance standards and identification, tracking, trending and reporting of a Project master schedule
Experienced at scheduling complex, multi disciplined projects at an operating nuclear plant
Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skill with consummate ability to maximize the project results using a network of teammates.
Ability to interface Baseline Management and Change Control process into schedule database
Candidate demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues to project teammates with varying degrees of knowledge.
Candidate must be a self starter and action oriented and is comfortable in working in processes that are broadly defined and require minimal supervision.

Education:
2 year Associates degree or
4 year non-technical degree
