WEIRICH CONSULTING SERVICES, INC. HAS AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR Project ManagerS / Project Task ManagerS OS6006 AT THE SAVANAH RIVER SITE. THIS IS A NEW ASSIGNMENT.
DUTIES:
Primary responsibilities will be planning, scheduling, directing and documenting safe and successful inspections within scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives. Programmatic guidance, including project management processes and procedures, will be provided by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
BS Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical degree.
Experience /Skills:
Candidate must have at least five years experience working as a part of project team executing engineered construction projects. Candidate must be able to demonstrate prior successful management of construction tasks and/or projects within defined cost and schedule baselines. Candidate must have a working knowledge of project management schedule, budget, and cost accounting tools and techniques. Candidate must have a working knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction processes. Candidate must be able to lead the assigned inspection teams, foster consensus, discriminate between daily priorities, and coordinate with Site facility teams. Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be able to develop and implement innovative solutions to project issues and impediments.
Experience at the Savannah River Site is advantageous.
Work Hours:
A nominal 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, fives days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch. The candidate must understand that project management responsibilities may require extended hours at times.
Area Security Access:
A Security clearance is not initially required; however, candidate must be capable of obtaining an L or Q clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
