Contract / Temp to Perm / Permanent: Contract

Echota Technologies Corporation is actively seeking to build a resume base to support a new contract that will have multiple task releases. The work will be performed in the North Las Vegas, Nevada area. Each task release is expected to last for a period of 3-4 months. Notification for authorization to work may take place in as little time as five business days before the start of work. The work may require a security clearance. Must have held an active DOD “TS” or DOE “Q” clearance within the last two years. A clearance will be required if personnel will be working with classified information or special nuclear material. Echota offers competitive salaries and paid travel expenses when travel criteria is met. Specific job qualifications are listed below.
•Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to communications engineering design.
•Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 or more years experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering and field experience in the inspection of construction projects, required.
•Plan, organize, and coordinate electrical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects through project startup.
•Execute tasks associated with the preparation, modification, and review of all types of communication system design/construction drawings, including microwave, telephone data, system control and data acquisition (SCADA), mobile radio, fire alarm, microwave radio, security and video.
•Properly interpret and apply National, State, and Local codes and standards, and customer design requirements for the preparation of electrical design/construction documents, specifications, and system descriptions related to assigned tasks.
•Prepare studies, analyses, and reports as required. Prepare engineering cost and schedules estimates. Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
•Familiarity with Microstation computer-aided drafting applications is required
