Contract / Temp to Perm / Permanent: Contract

Echota Technologies Corp. is actively seeking to build a resume base to support a new contract that will have multiple task releases. The work will be performed in the North Las Vegas, Nevada area. Each task release is expected to last for a period of 3-4 months. Notification for authorization to work may take place in as little time as five business days before the start of work. The work may require a security clearance. Must have held an active DOD “TS” or DOE “Q” clearance within the last two years. A clearance will be required if personnel will be working with classified information or special nuclear material. Echota offers competitive salaries and paid travel expenses when travel criteria is met. Specific job qualifications are listed below.
•Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to communications engineering design.
•Associate degree in a field related to the position and a minimum of 8 years experience.
•Communication systems design and drafting experience.
•Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD), MicroStation computer-aided drafting applications preferred but AutoCAD accepted, to originate and produce drawings with minimum supervision.
•Experience with the Bentley Suite of Communications modules for MicroStation is highly desirable.
•Interpret and apply codes and standards and customer design requirements in the preparation of communication design documents.
•Experience with the national geographic information system (GIS) computer aided design database standards required.
•Prepare or modify design drawings for all types of communication systems including microwave, telephone data, SCADA, mobile radio, microwave radio, fire alarm, security and video.
•Interpret and apply codes and standards and customer design requirements in the preparation of communication design documents.
