WEIRICH CONSULTING SERVICES, INC. HAS AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR FIELD PROCUREMENT ENGINEERS – FOUR EACH

location SRS

Bachelor's degree in management, business or economics and at least 5-7 years of related experience in the areas of procurement, materials management, maintenance or operations An engineering degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience may be preferred depending upon the division, functional area or commodity predominantly being supported. An Associate's degree or high school diploma and a substantially greater number of years of practical background or related experience could substitute for the higher degree requirement. A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all management directives, SRS policies and procedures, and quality or procurement guidelines relevant to the buying and field procurement engineering process is required. A full understanding of the procurement cycle as well as an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the functions, operations and requirement of the areas supported or the applications of the commodity area supported is required. An understanding of SRS policies relating to inventory control and asset management and the subcontract technical representative function would be beneficial.
