Edgewater is seeking Procedure Writers for an assignment in Aiken, SC. Required education and experience are as follows:
Associate's degree and at least 2-4 years of practical experience in the areas of operations, or E&I /mechanical maintenance.
High school diploma and at least 6-8 years of relevant experience would substitute.
A basic knowledge and understanding of process fundamentals and plant systems and a basic knowledge of computer software required to generate procedures, correspondence and database changes is required. A thorough knowledge of DOE site administrative documents pertaining to procedure development and an in-depth knowledge of procedure writing fundamentals is required.
A working knowledge of established safety practices, (OSHA, EPA, state regulations, radiation control, waste acceptance, and quality control) is required.
A security clearance is not initially required; however, candidate must be capable of obtaining an L or Q clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
