Edgewater is seeking Work Planners. Duties and requirements are as follows:

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a work planner at a DOE nuclear facility
A minimum of 3 years of experience developing work packages (cradle to grave) including the development of the work package, work planning, field interface (walk down to access hazards), implementation of identified controls for hazard mitigation, addressing review and approval comments
MUST have RECENT experience writing work packages using Integrated Safety Management Systems (ISMS) principles as they relate to work planning
Familiar with the Job Hazard Analysis process as it relates to work planning
Proficient in the ability to lead and conduct JHA/Work Planning activities
Well developed communication and technical writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word.
DOE Clearance is preferred, but not required
Ability to perform walk downs and handle an aggressive schedule, highly active workload and successfully work with minimal direction.
