The Extended Power Uprate Group has a requirement for 2 Mechanical Engineers to support their operations.

The candidates must have at least 10 years experience related to the following activities:

• Preparation of modification packages for secondary plant systems/equipment • Preparation of equipment specifications and bid evaluations • Preparation of technical evaluations of modification options for secondary systems/equipment • Oversight of engineering activities related to modification of secondary plant systems/equipment, including review of vendor designs, calculations, etc. • Familiarity with hydraulic analyses such as AFT Fathom Code, etc • Familiarity with design, controls and operation of high pressure steam turbines.

Must be proficient in all mechanical system areas of nuclear plants and be capable of performing multiple tasks in accordance with the project schedule and contracts as well as policies and procedures and NRC regulations. Must have a bias for action, strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Outlook, Excel etc. and experience in reviewing project CPM schedules.

NOTE: In an effort to expand our business we are offering to split our profit margin with the candidate accepted from our company for this position. This could equate to an additonal $6-7/hr for the length of the contract, worth an additional $13,000 per year as a result of working through our company. Please consider this time limited offer.
