Nuclear Facility/Work Planner

Individuals needed to fill nuclear facility/work planning positions at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Requirements:

1. Minimum of four years experience in work/craft planning in the commercial nuclear or DOE nuclear facility environment. An equivalent of 8 years combined planning experience that includes high hazard industrial environments may be substituted in lieu of the four years
2. A working knowledge and ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical instructions
3. Experience in hazard control and mitigation concepts
4. Demonstrated ability to estimate manpower requirements and implement scheduling techniques
5. Experience developing work instructions, work packages, and work requests and integrating engineering, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements into these packages
6. Experience with CMMS desired
7. A high school diploma and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline desirable.
8. Active DOE “Q” clearance or ability to quickly reinstate
