Echota Technologies Corporation is actively seeking to fill a position to support a new contract. The work will be performed in the North Las Vegas, Nevada area and will begin on 11/16/09 and end on 5/28/2010. The work may require a security clearance. Must have held an active DOD “TS” or DOE “Q” clearance within the last two years. A clearance will be required if personnel will be working with classified information or special nuclear material. Echota offers competitive salaries and paid travel expenses when travel criteria is met. Specific job qualifications are listed below.

Independently develop and review calculations, drawings, constructions specifications, and specialized analyses. Gather, correlate and interpret technical data. Independently perform technical analysis and engineering studies to develop solutions for projects. A working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design is required. Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering is required. Recent, within the last 2 years, hands-on experience with the development and review of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications is required. A Professional Engineer License is preferred. Experience with DOE sites and nuclear facilities is preferred.
