3 month temporary contract position at a PWR Nuclear Power Plant located in Tennessee. Local candidates preferred.

Description:
This position will develop and maintain the Project schedule for the BFN NFPA 805 transition project

Position Requirements:
Schedules and monitors actual cost versus budget for job orders and moderate size capital projects.

Develops the work breakdown structure for a project to ensure effective control and cost collection.

Periodically reviews the project status by comparing the completed activities to the project schedule and budget associated with those activities.

Documents project progress and changes and communicates them to team members. Prepares summary and detail level reports which are the fundamental monitoring tool to identify progress and problems with projects.

Reviews the work of Project Control Technicians at the technician level.

Assists Project Engineer or Project Control Specialist in the development of project cost/benefit analysis and approval packages.

Monitors the quality of work being performed and processes Project Change Requests and reflects these changes on the schedule and budget of a project.

Generates alternative courses of action for a project to address schedule and cost variances.

Operates in a teamwork environment to resolve schedule constraints. Identifies process improvements by comparing data of multiple activities/projects to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
