Planner

Link Technologies is currently looking for a Planner for a contract position on a project in Richland, WA. Please apply immediately if you are looking for a great project!

Job Description:
• Maintain periodic PM and surveillance activities to ensure maintenance practices are effective in maintaining safe, effective, and reliable facility operations.
• Follow standard established practices for appropriate format, content, style, and reviews for the type of work packages under development.
• Locate and review drawings and other historical documentation to support the planning process.
• Walk down work sites and document existing conditions and potential impacts to the work scope.
• Determine the risk and complexity of tasks.
• Develop planning and engineering controls.
• Plan and conduct Job Hazard Analyses.
• Identify potential risks and impact to the project schedule and cost.
• Ensure planned activities are in compliance with the Authorization Basis documents.
• Interface with field supervision, safety & health, radiological controls, characterization, environmental, and waste management personnel to facilitate the development of effective work control documents.
• Provide technical support to field supervision during the execution of work control documents.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, construction management, or related field from an accredited college or university
• 5 years of work control planning experience is required.
• Knowledge of work implementation processes and procedure, ISMS, OSHA, and DOE Regulatory and applicable State and Federal standards is required.
• Must have efficient oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other software (e.g., presentation graphics, flowcharting, database is desirable)
