Facilitate the SRNS Continuous Improvement efforts required to support execution of ARRA projects. Assist in the developing/modifying the SRNS Strategic Plan (Mission, Vision, Values, Strategies and Tactics) as it applies to the Recovery Act Organization.

Determine key drivers to reach customer satisfaction goals with financial benefit & support the business in developing meaningful metrics and balanced scorecards (Performance Indicators). Provide analytical support for key processes and financial performance.

Coach and mentor team members and process owners in utilizing a defined Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology that analyzes and interprets data for decision making. Lead improvement projects: manage project progress against plan and business goals.

Facilitate strategic planning meetings and discussions on continuous improvement. Conduct written and oral project updates for SRNS Leadership. Utilizes Best Practices where possible to accelerate change.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Scientific Field. Graduate degree, or working toward, preferred.

The candidate must be a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt that can demonstrate fluency in the Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. The candidate should posses a strong statistical knowledge of the Six Sigma tools, with an aptitude for statistical and logical analysis. The candidate must be able to manage risks, set direction, and lead the way to breakthrough improvement.

Extensive process knowledge in government processes and SRS process is preferred. The candidate must demonstrate experience working in an analytical and logical nature with management skills for managing complexity. The candidate must have basic computer skills with Microsoft software, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel; Minitab; and process mapping software.

The candidate must have a desire to drive change and improve current performance standards and a recognized change agent (demonstrated success). The candidate must be comfortable leading multifunctional teams to solve problems and improve processes.

A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week normally excludes SRNS holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.

A Security clearance in not initially required; however, candidate must be capable of obtaining an L or Q clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
