My name is Dorene Facteau and I am a SR. Technical Recruiter at Bechtel Corporation- Power BU. I am actively seeking Pipe Support Engineers, as Project Hires to support our efforts for TVA Watts Bar and after seeing your profile, thought it wise to reach out to you.
This Engineer will prepare and/or:
Prepare calculations using structural analysis software such as FAPPS, MAPPS, ME-035, and Baseplate II etc.
Coordination with walk down personnel and other engineering supervisors is required.
Successful candidate must have significant knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria and codes relevant to the discipline.
Knowledge of mathematical formulae and design calculations used in the discipline. A degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required
Candidate will be working for a nuclear facility, requiring US citizenship and ability to be fully badged, including drug testing.

Position Duties / Responsibilities
SENIOR ENGINEER I
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree or equivalent in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Must have the right to work and remain in the USA.
Knowledge of the application / use of pipe support hardware.
Knowledge of industry standards, design criteria, and relative codes.
Experience in generating / checking pipe support calculations.
Hands-on knowledge and use of FAPPS, MAPPS, ME-035, Baseplate II or equivalent computer programs.
Hands-on use of Excel.
Hands-on use of Microsoft Word.
Preferred Requirements
Pipe support design and analysis experience on Nuclear power projects.
Professional Engineering registration.
Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication in English.
MS degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in TVA Nuclear Power Project pipe support design.
Experience in use of TVA's computer programs for pipe support analysis.
Hands-on use of 2D CAD program.
