Precision Resource Company is currently seeking a Nuclear Turbine Engineer to be based out of Orlando, FL. This is a 3-6 month contract to direct opportunity offering:

*Opportunity to go direct after 90-180 days

Performs engineering calculations and develops equipment specifications in the design of turbine plant systems for new nuclear power plants.

Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities are to perform a variety of engineering and design assignments associated with the standardized balance of plant scope for the domestic AP1000 nuclear plant.
• Independently evaluate, select and use standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for work.
• Prepare P&IDs. Perform calculations associated with system functional design.
• Work for and interface with others.

Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• >5 years of work experience with progressive technical experience.
• Experience with design and operation of nuclear plant main steam, condensate and feedwater systems is required.
• Flow modeling experience using industry codes such as Fathom.

Must work independently with minimal supervision; work safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Candidate must meet the criteria for access to Company's partners and clients technologies.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:
PE license. PDS experience. SmartPlant P&ID experience.
