Contract / Temp to Perm / Permanent: Contract
Job Description:
This request for services is for a Project Manager to support large modification projects at the Nuclear Site. The PM will report to the Manager of Projects in the Major Projects organization. Current Job durations are expected to be 2 to 5 years. Those individuals without recent (within 1 year) Project Management experience at an operating nuclear site should not apply.
Required Qualifications:
• The individual will perform the normal job functions of a project manager and must have demonstrated experience to display competency to perform these functions in a timely manner with a high degree of quality
• Experience in managing the implementation aspects of a large construction project.
• Recent nuclear plant PM experience with full scope responsibility for schedule, scope and cost control
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to form and lead teams from diverse organizations under a matrix environment
• Broad background in all project types is requested (mechanical, electrical, civil)
• Experience in managing the implementation aspects of a construction project
• Ability to work alongside another experienced Project Manager
• Must be willing to take ownership of all aspects of a project and resolve items quickly and efficiently
• Within the last year have performed full scope Project Management functions at an operating nuclear site
Desired Qualifications:
• PMP certification
• Concurrent multi-project PM experience
• Modification process familiarity
• Large project experience
• Familiarity with P3 scheduling tool
• Degree in Construction Management
