Contract / Temp to Perm / Permanent: Permanent

Location: Lynchburg, VA
Assist in the design of reactor safety and support systems. Perform fluid flow calculations and review product literature to select pipe, valves, pumps and other system hardware. Assist in the preparation of system descriptions and other technical documents describing these systems; system and component operating procedures; preparation and review of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and isometric drawings; and detailed analysis of the reactor and associated systems to evaluate performance during normal operation and accident conditions. Knowlege of nuclear power plants, thermal/hydraulics, chemistry, and fluid system hardware. Familiar with reactor system analysis codes RELAP, TRAC, TRACE.
